Designers Corner by Peter Salerno
White River and 15-time award winning kitchen and bath designer Peter Salerno have formed an alliance to provide the design community with new products and educational resources on how to design with White River Products. Peter Salerno, CMKBD, a master designer, grew up in the cabinet industry and spent 3 years studying architecture in Europe. For the past 25 years, Salerno's award-winning designs have been published in numerous trade journals such as KBDN, KBB & Design NJ. You can visit Peter's website at www.petersalernoinc.com.
Each month Peter Salerno will write an article to educate designers on how to design with White River products. His first article "Understanding Correct Proportion" will review best practices when designing with corbels, mouldings and RangeHoods.

Designers Bootcamp at K/BIS 2008
In Salerno's workshops, he shared design ideas on how to create a furniture look, covered proportion and scale, key focal points in the kitchen and choosing the correct motif.
